Got a Misprinted Theorealize Past Lull? KONAMI Will Give You Two Corrected Copies

The September 28 KDE-US process covers English, Spanish, and Portuguese copies and keeps in person exchanges available through the North America WCQ 2027.

The Replacement Plan

  • Exchange rate: Players can exchange one affected Theorealize Past Lull for two corrected copies of the same rarity.
  • US process: KDE-US announced the replacement process on September 28, 2026, with exchanges available through Customer Service or qualifying Tier 3 events.
  • Why it matters: Corrected physical copies will now circulate alongside the original printing, which uses different wording for the card’s activation condition.

How the Exchange Works

KDE-US says the affected English, Spanish, and Portuguese versions of Theorealize Past Lull incorrectly require players to control an Artmage, DoomZ, or Elfnote “monster.” The correct wording is “card.” Players can request replacements through KONAMI Customer Service or bring an original affected copy to participating Tier 3 events. KONAMI says the final in person exchange opportunity will be the North America WCQ 2027.

“Duelists may exchange one affected card for two corrected cards of the same rarity.”

KDE-US

The correction itself predates this US announcement. The official Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron database recorded an update to Theorealize Past Lull on July 3 and now tells players to use the text shown in the database even when their physical card is different. KONAMI’s European operation announced its own replacement procedure on July 23 for affected language versions in that region.

Two Physical Text Versions

The replacement program creates a straightforward physical distinction between the original printing and the corrected version. One says “monster” while the other says “card.” KONAMI has not said whether corrected copies will carry any separate production mark beyond that wording, and it has not published a total number of corrected cards that will be distributed. The two for one exchange means two corrected copies can enter circulation for each affected copy surrendered, but participation numbers remain unknown.

A Visible Card Correction

This is an unusually easy correction to identify directly on the physical card because the changed word appears in the activation condition itself. What remains worth watching is whether KONAMI eventually identifies another production distinction for corrected copies or provides a specific end date for Customer Service exchanges.
