Ghostrick Gets New Support
- What happened: Konami revealed five of the seven new Ghostrick cards in REVOLUTION BOOSTER -CUBIC・MARINCESS・GHOSTRICK- and named 14 reprints.
- Key date: Konami announced the cards on October 31 for the OCG set releasing November 21, 2026.
- Why it matters: The new cards give Ghostrick more ways to start and extend plays, and Ghostrick Master Alucard brings removal and Spell/Trap negation.
The Five Revealed Cards
The five cards are Ghostrick Master Alucard, Ghostrick Yoko, Ghostrick Garden, Ghostrick Art and Ghostrick Lich. Master Alucard can destroy all of an opponent’s face-down cards and negate a Spell/Trap activation, while Yoko can summon a Ghostrick from the Deck. Ghostrick Festival is among the 14 reprints, and it is also planned in an Over Frame Secret Rare version. This is an OCG release for Japan, with five-card packs priced at 264 yen and boxes of 15 packs.

Konami
Master Alucard is a new take on a familiar face. Collectors who like the character can also look at Ghostrick Alucard, an earlier and separate Alucard card from the theme’s older days.
Starting and Extending Plays
Ghostrick Garden searches a Ghostrick monster, and Ghostrick Art can trade up to two Ghostrick cards from hand or field for the same number of differently named Ghostricks from the Deck. A Japanese Ghostrick strategy writer says the previous version of the theme struggled to start face-up plays, reach its key monsters and produce disruption, and that these cards improve opening consistency and extension. Players building the archetype can already find older monsters such as Ghostrick Jiangshi to round out a collection.
A Fix for Known Weak Spot
The most telling detail is how directly these cards target the theme’s reported problems with starting plays and disrupting opponents. Two of the seven new cards are still unrevealed, so the full picture will come later. For another recent Yu-Gi-Oh! set, see our report on Maze of Machines and its DARK Machine cards and GX tie-ins.
