Bushiroad says the Palworld Official Card Game’s first booster set, Dawn of Palpagos, has reached 4.4 million pack sales worldwide just 40 days after launch.

A 4.4 Million-Pack Start
- The milestone: Bushiroad says Dawn of Palpagos, the first Palworld Official Card Game booster set, has reached 4.4 million pack sales worldwide.
- Since launch: The Palworld Official Card Game launched worldwide on July 30, 2026, putting the milestone just 40 days after its debut.
- Why it matters: For a brand-new trading card game, reaching millions of pack sales this early gives Palworld a notable first milestone as it begins building its player and collector base.
Dawn of Palpagos Reaches 4.4 Million
Bushiroad announced on September 8 that Booster Pack Dawn of Palpagos has officially reached 4.4 million pack sales worldwide. The set launched alongside the Palworld Official Card Game on July 30, meaning the milestone arrived only 40 days after the game’s simultaneous worldwide debut.
Dawn of Palpagos is the game’s first booster set and features more than 50 Pals with originally drawn illustrations, along with characters including Zoe and Lily. Bushiroad also launched two trial decks alongside the booster set to give new players a way to begin playing immediately.
The card game is based on Pocketpair’s Palworld, which Bushiroad says has surpassed 32 million players across Steam, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Mac since entering Early Access in January 2024. The physical card game adapts the franchise into a two-player competitive format centered on deploying Pals, gathering resources, building structures, and controlling the field.
What the Milestone Tells Us
The 4.4 million figure gives us the clearest official look yet at the scale of Palworld’s opening weeks as a trading card game. Bushiroad did not provide a regional breakdown of the sales, however, so it remains unclear how those packs were distributed across individual markets or where demand has been strongest.
It is also still very early in the game’s life. A successful launch can bring plenty of attention, but the more interesting question will be how Palworld develops after its initial release window. Future products, organized play, continued player interest, and the game’s ability to establish its own identity within the larger TCG landscape could all play a role in determining where it goes from here.

A Strong Opening Hand
Palworld appears to be off to a strong start. Reaching 4.4 million pack sales only 40 days after launch is an encouraging first milestone for a completely new card game, particularly one trying to establish itself in an already crowded TCG market. The Palworld name gave the game a large existing audience to work with, but turning that initial attention into an active long-term card game community will be the next test. If Bushiroad can keep players interested through future releases and organized play, this opening momentum could give Palworld a solid foundation to build on. For now, 4.4 million packs is a pretty good way to begin.
