Two Decks, One Unit
- What happened: COVER released two Hololive OCG starter decks in Japan, one led by Kyoko Hyakuto and one by Netsusen Mela.
- Key date: Both decks went on sale October 30, 2026, at a suggested retail price of ¥1,980 each.
- Why it matters: New players get two ready-to-play decks with different approaches, and both include Sopia cards.
How the Decks Play
The official product page describes the Kyoko deck as built around accelerating Yell for fast attacks. The Mela deck is a more technical Gift strategy. Kyoko’s list pairs red Kyoko cards with blue Sopia cards, while Mela’s pairs purple Mela cards with the same blue Sopia support. Anyone who wants more cards after the starters can look at Extra Booster: Summer hologram Booster Box, a booster box from the same game.

COVER Corporation (Japanese original, English translation)
Each deck comes with an Oshi Holomem card, a 50-card main deck, a 20-card Yell deck, a rule sheet, a play sheet, a marker sheet, and an index. Both also include four Sopia card types, two event cards named for the unit and its debut song, and four reprinted general-purpose support cards. The unit’s cards first surfaced in our earlier look at the Asobi★Mawari-Tai! start decks, ahead of this release.
More Unit Cards Are Coming
COVER says the four-member unit debuted in September 2026. Tsuzuri is scheduled to appear in the Glory Echo booster in December 2026, and Sopia’s Oshi Holomem card is slated for a product in June 2027. Players who want more Hololive OCG product in the meantime can also open Curious Universe Booster Box.
A Clear Choice for Newcomers
The split between a fast Yell deck and a more technical Gift deck is the useful part here. It gives a new player a real decision at the same ¥1,980 price, and the shared Sopia and event cards keep both decks tied to the same unit.
