Card File

  • TCG: Weiß Schwarz
  • Card: “Mysterious Girl” Spica (ANM/W138-T04SP)
  • Set: Weiß Schwarz Trial Deck: anemoi
  • First released: May 1, 2026, as part of the anemoi trial deck
  • Notable rarity: TDSP, one of five foil-stamped signature cards in the trial deck, this one signed by Sae Hiratsuka, Spica’s voice actor

Behind the Foil

The artwork keeps Spica simple and a little unreal. She has silver hair and blue eyes, and she wears a flowing white outfit with pink and teal ribbons, so the whole figure looks like it’s already moving in a breeze. The soft palette suits a character defined by wind, and the ribbons do most of the visual work, adding color without breaking the calm. The signature stamp is the other half of the presentation, a foil-stamped autograph from Sae Hiratsuka that gives this parallel a different feel from the standard print. The character’s original illustration is credited to Na-Ga.

「私はただ風に吹かれていることにするわ」 — “I’ll just let the wind carry me.”

Tsujikura Spica, anemoi (English translation)

The card debuted with the anemoi trial deck on May 1, 2026, and the TDSP signature set is five cards deep, so Spica’s version sits alongside four other stamped cards from the same product. Trial decks are Weiß Schwarz’s ready-to-play starter format, and DANDADAN Trial Deck is another one for a different series. That’s useful context for what a signature card like this is attached to: a starter product, not a booster chase.

Lore

Spica is the mysterious girl of anemoi, a character from Key’s world who lives in a trailer home on the edge of town. She tends a wheat field and bakes pizza from what it yields, which is a very specific way to be a recluse.

She keeps her distance from the townspeople but is kind to animals and older people, and she’s often seen at night playing a grass whistle in the wind. That mix of aloofness and quiet warmth is what the card’s soft, windblown look is built around.

Competitive History

The T04SP is a foil-stamped signature version of Spica from the anemoi trial deck, a starter product designed as a ready-to-play entry point into the game. The signature treatment changes how the card looks and what it signifies to collectors, not what it is in the deck. Anyone curious how these decks are packaged in other series can look at Rurouni Kenshin Trial Deck, another trial deck in the same format.

FoilWire Take

The best thing about this card is how well the presentation matches the character. Spica is defined by distance, wind, and small unexpected kindnesses, and a pale, ribbon-trailing illustration with a voice actor’s stamped signature feels more fitting than a loud chase-rarity treatment would. Cards like this work when the art does the characterization, which is also the case for another Weiß Schwarz card covered in Proceeding With the Plan, Rapi Turns Defense Into Another Attack.
