Locations, Dates and Entry Rules
The North American Area Final is in Orlando on January 7 to 10, tied to a BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest event. The European final is in London on January 15 to 17. Entry to both requires an invitation earned through regional tournaments. Oceania is on January 16 and 17, and Latin America is on January 16. Neither of those two requires an invitation.
There will also be side events that are open to everyone so join in and see who becomes the top Tamer in person!
Bandai
The first-place prize cards in North America and Europe are WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, the two Digimon that fuse into Omnimon, the subject of our look at the BT1-084 Omnimon card.
Format and Prizes
The published format is an eight-round Swiss qualifier followed by a top-16 single-elimination cut, with best-of-three matches. Bandai notes the format may vary by region. In North America and Europe, the first-place player takes home gold alternate-art copies of MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon, plus a trophy. The top three players also receive a playmat. Players who want a sealed product from the current Digimon lineup can look at Premium Deck Set.

The Open Regions Stand Out
The split in entry rules is the most useful detail here. Oceania and Latin America players can register and compete for a World Final invitation without qualifying first. Fans who like alternate-art Digimon can browse Premium Deck Set Lucky Pack while the January events approach.
