Weiß Schwarz Online Is Leaving Tokyo Behind With New Global Demo Stops

Bushiroad is moving the playable build beyond its Tokyo Game Show debut ahead of the game’s planned spring 2027 release.

The Demo Goes Abroad

  • What happened: Bushiroad announced on September 29 that Weiß Schwarz Online will appear at demo events around the world, with official event listings confirming stops in Kuala Lumpur and London.
  • Next stops: Bushiroad EXPO 2026 in Kuala Lumpur runs October 2 through October 4, followed by MCM London Comic Con from October 23 through October 25.
  • Why it matters: The rollout gives players outside Japan their first confirmed opportunities to try the digital version in person after its public debut at Tokyo Game Show 2026.

The International Rollout Begins

Bushiroad published its global demo announcement on September 29. The company’s Bushiroad EXPO 2026 page now lists Weiß Schwarz Online in the Digital Zone for Bushiroad EXPO 2026 in Kuala Lumpur at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre and for MCM London Comic Con at ExCeL London. The Kuala Lumpur event runs October 2 through October 4, while the London event runs October 23 through October 25.

“Step onto the global stage with Weiß Schwarz Online.”

Bushiroad EXPO 2026

The expansion comes shortly after the game’s first public playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026. Bushiroad previously confirmed that appearance for September 17 through September 21 at its Hall 6 booth, giving attendees the first opportunity to play the upcoming digital adaptation. FoilWire covered that initial demo earlier this month, making the move into international events the next stage of the rollout.

More Players Get Early Access

Weiß Schwarz Online is planned for Nintendo Switch and Steam in spring 2027. Bushiroad has confirmed support for Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Spanish, while the Steam version lists single player play and several online battle options.

That makes the international demo schedule particularly relevant for players who previously could only watch the Tokyo rollout from abroad. Bushiroad describes the program as global, although additional demo locations beyond the confirmed Kuala Lumpur and London appearances remain to be seen.

From Showcase to Roadshow

The interesting part now is that Weiß Schwarz Online is no longer confined to a single Japanese showcase. Bushiroad is putting the playable version in front of players in multiple regions months before launch. How much larger that demo schedule becomes will be worth watching as spring 2027 approaches.
