Shirakami Fubuki gets a dedicated English Live Start Deck on October 23, putting hololive’s fox idol at the center of a starter product.

Behind the Foil
Fubuki’s look comes down to a few signature pieces: white hair, fox ears, and a corn mark that doubles as a fan symbol. The corn is a pun. A fox’s “Kon Kon” cry sounds like “corn,” and her fans go by Sukonbu (Su-Corn). Anyone curious how the game packages that design can start with Live Start Deck: Shirakami Fubuki, the deck built around her.
White-haired animal-eared otaku fox. She loves talking with people and will be happy if you give her the time of day.
COVER Corporation
Fubuki debuted on June 1, 2018, as part of hololive 1st Generation, and she also belongs to hololive GAMERS. That history is why a deck in her name carries weight with longtime viewers. If you want to see how the game has packaged other talents in starter form, the Japanese lineup is covered in our look at the Japanese Hololive OCG start decks.
Lore
Fubuki is a fox and an otaku, and conversation is her whole brand: chatting with people is what she enjoys most, and she’s glad for anyone who stops by. Her stated ambition is to become a top otaku idol, which gives the deck’s “Live” branding a fitting target. Sukonbu fans have the corn mark to rally around.
Competitive History
The deck is a starter product, so its job is to give players an entry point built around one talent rather than to chase tournament results. It doesn’t release until October 23, so there’s no competitive record to point to, and its card details may still change before then. Players who want her Oshi card on its own can look to Quintet Spectrum, where Shirakami Fubuki (OSR) is an Oshi Super Rare printing of the same character.
FoilWire Take
A character-first starter deck suits Fubuki, because her appeal is personality: the fox ears, the corn pun, the idol ambition. The piece to watch is how the final card list carries that across, since the contents may still shift before release. For a look at her Bloom-level card in a different set, Shirakami Fubuki (SR) is another printing of her from Curious Universe.
