The champion promo gives an existing Dawn of Palpagos card a numbered treatment without changing its abilities.
October’s Numbered Prize
- The prize: Serialized Jormuntide Ignis promo EPR-010 is the champion reward for the English Grand Challengers Cup.
- Event window: Official tournament stores can each host one event from October 1 through October 31, 2026.
- Distribution: Winning the tournament earns the card. It is separate from the participation promo pack.
What the Numbering Shows
With the tournament window now open, the key collector detail is the serial panel. Mythras’s September 21 report identifies “000/750” on the official preview, indicating a numbered series of 750. Bushiroad’s event description confirms that the champion receives a random serial number, but does not separately explain regional allocations or a total across language editions.
EPR-010 features different artwork from the earlier Jormuntide Ignis printings. The underlying card comes from Dawn of Palpagos, which we reviewed here, where Jormuntide Ignis already appeared in RR, OSR, and SSP versions. This promo adds a tournament reward to that existing lineup.

The Same Dragon in Play
The red Lucky Pal retains its cost of 8, 1,700 Power, and Strike 4. Its activated ability lets you stand it once per turn by paying three souls or discarding two cards from your hand. The official ruling makes the limit clear: choosing the other payment option does not allow a second activation that turn. Players can use the earlier printings for the same effect.

A Trophy With Table Appeal
FoilWire’s read is simple: a distinctive version of an existing card makes an appealing trophy without reserving a new ability for tournament winners. For anyone taking part, the next step is checking their store’s date through Bushi Navi. A legal constructed deck and deck log registration are required.
