The First Public Demo

Tokyo Game Show 2026 has ended, but it marked a new step for Weiß Schwarz Online: players could sit down and try the game for the first time. Bushiroad exhibited it at booth 06-C01 in Hall 6, and the demo was available throughout the event’s two business days and three public days.

Bushiroad used a demo ticket system to manage congestion. Tickets were distributed on a first come, first served basis. Once a day’s allocation ran out, Bushiroad planned to use a waiting list for canceled tickets.

The promotional cards offered a physical TCG tie in to the digital game. Visitors could choose between the MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica designs while supplies lasted. Playing the demo qualified visitors for one card, and showing staff the game on their Steam Wishlist qualified them for another. Completing both activities allowed visitors to receive up to two giveaway items.

A Busy Booth, With Details to Come

Game8’s September 20 on site report described the Weiß Schwarz Online area as busy. Its photos show multiple demo stations, large game displays, character artwork and signage promoting the planned Spring 2027 release in Japan.

The reports establish that visitors could play a demo, but do not detail which cards or gameplay systems were included in that build. More information about the version players tried could help clarify what the public demo revealed about the game itself.

From Announcement to Playable

A public demo gives players something concrete to experience ahead of launch. The next major milestone is the planned Spring 2027 release in Japan.

Weiß Schwarz shared a look at the Online demo area following the first day of Tokyo Game Show 2026.
